Kane Williamson officially returns to the New Zealand setup ahead of the highly anticipated NZ vs West Indies Test at Hagley Oval, marking his comeback to red-ball cricket after nearly a year away. Despite these absences, New Zealand coach Rob Walter expressed confidence in the squad’s balance and welcomed Williamson’s leadership back into the dressing room.
“Kane’s quality on the field speaks for itself. His leadership, experience and composure will be crucial for the Test group,” Walter said.
