Kohli breaks Tendulkar record in VHT 2025/26
Virat Kohli continued his record-shattering run in VHT 2025/26, becoming the fastest player to reach 16,000 List-A runs, achieving the milestone in just 330 innings, comfortably ahead of Sachin Tendulkar’s 391 innings.
Kohli now has 16,130 List-A runs at an astonishing average of 57.6, second only to Michael Bevan (57.86) among batters with over 10,000 runs.
He also struck his 58th List-A hundred, scoring 131 in Delhi’s comfortable win over Andhra in Bengaluru. Only Tendulkar, with 60 centuries, remains ahead of him.
Rohit Sharma climbs the List-A elite charts
Rohit Sharma also made headlines in VHT 2025/26, smashing his 37th List-A century. His blistering 155 against Sikkim in Jaipur marked his ninth 150-plus score, equalling David Warner for the most such scores in List-A cricket history.

Karnataka pull off historic 413 chase
Another incredible feat in VHT 2025/26 saw Karnataka successfully chase down 413 against Jharkhand in Ahmedabad — only the second successful 400+ chase in List-A cricket history.
Devdutt Padikkal starred with a sensational 147 off 118 balls, as the match aggregate reached 825, the joint-highest ever in Asia.
Soon after, Bengal added to the chaos by chasing 383 against Vidarbha, making it the third-highest successful run chase in India.
